How to enable camera and microphone access

For applications who may face challenges in enabling camera and microphone access during their interview.

Follow these simple steps to enable the camera and microphone while submitting your application.

Computer

During the Audio/Video test please make sure that you press the "Allow" button

Incase you press the "Block" button by mistake, or if you receive an error message saying your camera or microphone permissions are not enabled. You can enable camera and/or microphone permissions by clicking on the settings icon in the address bar of your browser.

Once the permissions are enabled, you will need to refresh or reload the page for the video/audio to start working.

Safari on macOS

Please make sure you hit the "Allow" button when asked for camera and microphone permissions when asked for.

If you've hit "Don't Allow" by mistake - refreshing the page will show the same popup again. If you've pressed "Never for This Website" by mistake or receive the "Please enable camera & microphone permissions" message while submitting your answer, follow these steps.

With the application page open in Safari
Go to Safari and then Settings from the top menu bar
Go to Websites in the settings panel

Customize the "Thank you" page

Click into an existing job.
Click on the ⚙️ icon in the top right and choose the settings option - to view the job settings screen
In the sidebar choose "Thank you page"
Remove the default image - if present - by clicking on the X the edit button.
You can upload either a video or an image. The image height is maintained while the width is limited to 650px on the success page. This can be viewed the using the preview option.
Check automatic redirection and type in a URL to redirect an applicant from the thank you page to the page of your choice. The redirect happens after 8 seconds of the thank you page being loaded.

Send an automated shortlisted email to a candidate

Click on the 💬 icon next to the question

In the sidebar that shows up you can now add the details

text (which can be formatted)
links
code blocks
embeds (for externally hosted media)

You can also add a video to explain details.

You can either upload a previously recorded video.

Bulk Invite candidates

Go the job post that you would like to invite candidates to.
Choose "Invited" in the sidebar.
You can either manually invite candidates or import a CSV to bulk import candidates
Choosing a CSV file will provide you the option to mark different columns from your sheet corresponding to the information needed to invite candidates.
