This guide shows you how to set up a password for your account so you can log in quickly without waiting for email OTP codes every time.

Why Set Up a Password?

By default, you log in using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email. While secure, this can be inconvenient if:

  • Email delivery is slow or unreliable

  • Your email provider blocks or delays OTP messages

  • You want faster access without checking your inbox

Setting up a password is optional. You can continue using email OTP if you prefer, or use both methods interchangeably.

Prerequisites

Before you can set up a password, you need:

  • An active account with verified email address

  • Access to your account (log in first using email OTP or magic link)

  • An active subscription (expired subscriptions cannot access profile settings)

How to Set Up Your Password

Follow these steps to add a password to your account:

Step 1: Log In with Email OTP

First, log in to your account using the standard email OTP method:

  1. Go to the login page

  2. Enter your email address

  3. Click Continue

  4. Check your email for the 6-digit OTP code or magic link

  5. Enter the code or click the magic link to complete login

If you don't receive the OTP email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or try requesting a new code.

Step 2: Navigate to Profile Settings

Once logged in:

  1. Click on your account menu in the header (usually your name or avatar)

  2. Select My account from the dropdown

  3. Navigate to the Set Password tab in your profile

Step 3: Create Your Password

On the Set Password page:

  1. Enter your desired password in the New password field (minimum 6 characters)

  2. Re-enter the same password in the Confirm password field

  3. Click Update

  4. You'll see a success message: "Password has been updated successfully"

Once your password is set up, you can use it immediately for future logins!

How to Log In with Your Password

After setting up your password, you have two login options:

Option 1: Email OTP (Original Method)

Continue using email OTP as before—your password doesn't replace this option, it supplements it.

Option 2: Password Login (Faster)

To use your new password:

  1. Go to the login page

  2. Click Sign in with a password

  3. Enter your email address

  4. Enter your password

  5. Click Continue

Bookmark the password login page for even faster access next time.

Password Best Practices

While the system requires a minimum of 6 characters, we recommend following these best practices for security:

  • Use at least 12 characters for stronger protection

  • Include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols

  • Avoid common words, phrases, or personal information

  • Don't reuse passwords from other accounts

  • Consider using a password manager to generate and store strong passwords

Troubleshooting

Password Mismatch Error

If you see "Password should match," make sure both the New password and Confirm password fields contain exactly the same text.

Password Too Short Error

Your password must be at least 6 characters long. If you see "at least 6 characters," enter a longer password.

Cannot Access Profile Settings

If you see "You do not have access... contact administrator," you may not have the required permissions. Contact your organization administrator or reach out to support.

Forgot Your Password

If you forget your password, you can always use the email OTP method to log in. The forgot password feature is currently being updated.

If you're unable to access your account via email OTP or password, contact support at [email protected] for assistance.

Alternative Login Methods

In addition to email OTP and password login, you may also be able to sign in using:

  • Google OAuth: Sign in with your Google account (no OTP needed)

  • Microsoft OAuth: Sign in with your Microsoft account (no OTP needed)

These options bypass the email OTP process entirely and provide quick access to your account.
